i am very late! 84 comments before mine anyway enjoyed it very much.. when i started reading, i was thinking why mel likes the names uma and mohan so much anyway uma seems to be a very smart lady.. and renuka very considerate.. i liked her letting the clothes get wet so that she wouldn't interrupt the newly weds.. not many would do that

sorry I meant 'aura' of the story.... and sis-in-law... in the 4th line..

WOW!!! I loved the whole ura of this story. Reminds me of Malgudi. But again, you shol have specified the town.. Because if it is some city, the neighbours simply wouldn't care (personal expeience). But I loved all the mamas, mamis, and even the neighbours. But do you feel that the sis-inaw ad mother-inlaw were too good? But then also, you have made us happy.. that's nice

Beautiful story. If all the DILs, MILs, and SILs are like this Ekta does not have any stories to entertain the  people.

I loved the story.

MQ, you are not a fiction writer, you are a gem-writer!!!
such a happy little story, but I have a tear stuck in the corner of my eye....the warmth, and really, the email got to me! It was incredibly sweet of Renuka to read between the lines!
adored it!
